[Solved] Missing field "mainEntry"

Many wordpress sites started getting this error in google search console, saying that:

Missing field “MainEntry

What causes the error Missing field “mainEntry”

This error is due to the recent issue in yoast seo plugin. Luckily they have updated the error too.

You simply need to update your yoast seo plugin.

Don’t forget to clear the cache

Then click on validate fix button in google search console so that google fetches the updated version of your site and fixes this error.
